I attended a 1 day-decorating class last month, and learnt how to carve and cover a pillow cake. Wanted to practice what I've learnt, I took the oppurtunity of my relative's baby, Tavey's full month calebration.
Was so tempted to do the cake in pale pink, but Tavey is a baby boy so I ended up using a greenish blue.
I made a Citrus pound cake iced with a thin layer of apricot jam, as all I have on hand that day are oranges, lemons and limes.
I think the funny part of making this cake is realizing that i actually couldn't recall how a pacifier looks like....and googled for it.
Hm..blame it on my uncles and aunties and mum,..who has stop the production of babies in our family.

Anyways, I hope Baby Tavey will grow up healthy and is blessed with lots of love from everyone.
